2012/Spring 2013 MINISTRY UPDATE - June 11, 2013

It has been WAY too long....

First of all, WELCOME to the hundreds of you who signed up for these ministry updates at events over the past year! Those of you who are veteran Amy Hill Ministry supporters may notice a brand new look to my updates!  I hope you like it!

I usually update you guys every two months, so I was completely embarrassed to find that I have not sent out a ministry update for 18 months!  What has gone on in the last year and half to keep me from writing to you? Well, a LOT of ministry!  Here are the places I ministered in  2012:

  • Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri
  • Belview Baptist Church, Tulsa, OK
  • Bi-Fork Area Minister's and Wives Banquet, Camp Chaparral, TX
  • First Baptist Church, Vernon, TX
  • Faith Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, TX
  • First Baptist Church, Graham, TX
  • First Baptist Church, Killeen, TX
  • Red Fork Baptist Association Annual Meeting, TX
  • First Baptist Church, Vinita, OK
  • Surrey Hills Baptist Church, Yukon, OK
  • Faith Baptist Church, Iowa Park, TX

Then, so far in 2013, I have had the privilige to minister at these amazing places:

  • New Hope Baptist Church, Austin, TX
  • Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Houston, TX
  • First Baptist Church, Graham, TX
  • Southside Bible Conference, Bowie, TX
  • Faith Baptist Church, Iowa Park, TX
  • First Baptist Church, Wainwright, OK
  • First Baptist Church, Levelland, TX

I am excited about a new media blitz for 6 topics that I currently offer.  I will be sharing these new promotional pieces with you in the next month or so!

Until then, you all know how much I rely on your prayers and this summer is no different. I am leading worship for three (count them 3!!!) Preteen and Children's camps in June and July here at Camp Chaparral ( where my husband is the Executive Director.  I need energy and strength.  And, I want these kids to feel the freedom to worship like never before!

How can I thank the Lord for each of the precious people I met and worshipped with over the past 18 months?  How can I thank each and every one of you for your prayers?

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever! Psalm 107:1

Thanks for your love and prayers!

Fall/Winter Ministry Update 2011 - December 10, 2011

Hi Friends!

First of all, let me encourage you to read all the way to the end of this update for some BIG NEWS!

In September, I was with the wonderful ladies from Sisters @ Heart in Shawnee, OK. We had a wonderful time laughing and crying and learning how to be a better friend in Christ. "Chocolate Covered Friendship" was the theme and these ladies ate it up (pun intended). Thanks to Donna Tonubbee for the invite and for the wonderful work you and Debbie are doing with the women of Shawnee!

October brought the opportunity to go for the second year in a row to the retreat of Brenham's First Baptist Church in Brenham, Texas. These sisters in Christ are now friends and that allowed us to worship with abandon! Our theme song was "You Can Do More" and He did do more! Thank you, Lord, for allowing me once again to minister with my friend, Jana Foster, and her team!

In November, Carol Sallee and I (ThreeFold Ministries) were so blessed to be a part of the Ladies' Retreat at New Hope Baptist Church of Austin, TX. I cannot describe how welcoming and full of worship these ladies were. We had an instant connection as we talked about our "Journey" with the Lord. An awesome time of prayer for each other is what I will remember most. We look forward to ministering with Kim Davis and her team in the future!

I ended my year presenting a Christmas program for NEWCHURCH in Oklahoma City. The theme was "Bethlehem Came Near" and I believe it really did that night! We learned to be "Wise Women" instead of "Worn Out Women" this Christmas. And, we ended our night with "O Holy Night". What a wonderful way to start out the holiday season! Thanks to my new friend, Gena Schuck, who made me feel extremely welcomed and loved!

Now to the big news: My husband, Charles, has been called as Executive Director at Camp Chaparral in Iowa Park, TX ( The nearest large town is Wichita Falls which is only 2 hours from Oklahoma City yet close again to all of my ministry contacts in Texas. So, please know that my ministry will continue as before and my contact number will be the same @ 254-319-5923. Although we are sad to leave our friends in Oklahoma, we are excited about this new phase in our lives and ministry! PLEASE pray for us during this transition.

Love to you all and Merry CHRISTmas!

August Ministry Update 2011 - September 7, 2011

Dear Prayer Partners,

First of all, welcome to the many new prayer partners who have joined this month and THANK YOU for praying for this ministry! I am excited to report back to you about a very busy August!

In the middle of August, I shared the ministry platform at FBC Seymour, TX, with Thelma Wells ( You might remember her from a 12 year career as keynote speaker with Women of Faith (the bee lady!) Well, I learned that I LOVE Thelma! She is down to earth and loving and very timely in her teaching of God's word. The ladies of Seymour and the surrounding communities were so extremely gracious and really were seeking a touch from God! Thelma spoke on "worship" which most of you know if my favorite topic! She said, "In the atmosphere of Praise and Worship, things change!" Boy, is that ever true! Lives and hearts were changed that weekend thanks to the presence of the Lord! Thank you, Beverly Kinnibrugh for the invite! Love ya sister!

At the end of August, I led worship and two breakout sessions on worship at the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma's SWEET EXPERIENCE ( This was a day for Women's Ministry leaders from across the state to gather for encouragement and training. I loved the worship time we shared and also hearing from Jaye Martin and Andrea Mullins! Then, I shared a very intimate and encouraging class with some women who truly wanted to use worship through music in their churches and Women's Ministries. It was a great time of catching up with friends and meeting new contacts! I even sang a few songs on the Grand Stage! Thanks, Kelly King, for inviting me to lead at this event! God bless your efforts in Oklahoma!

Now, for prayer requests! Some of you have told me that you stop for a few moments and pray as you read these. Thank you SO very much! It is so needed. Please pray for my upcoming busy Fall and all that God would have me sing and say to groups. Please thank Him for always providing for this ministry in every single way.

Love to you all,

Spring/Summer Ministry Update 2011 - July 13, 2011

It's been too long since I have written to all of you, my prayer partners! Let me say first of all....thank you! Your prayers have sustained me. If all you do is say a simple prayer as you read this, I appreciate you! I will admit there is a lot to catch you up on. So, here goes!

In March, Carol and I (ThreeFold Ministries) led the "Thirsty" conference at my home church of FBC, Vinita, OK. It was a very meaningful day of thirsting for God and everything about God! Carol encourages me every time I hear her speak. The ladies from the community of Vinita were awesome! God showed up as usual!

In May I spoke for two groups: the senior girls from Vinita High School and the Mothers and Daughters of Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Claremore, OK. I loved the opportunity to share what the Lord placed on my heart with both groups. Both were so accepting and responsive. Thank you, Lord, for speaking when my words are not enough.

Now to summer with 2 PreTeen camps in the books so far!! As most of you know, my husband is the camp administrator at Green Country Camp in Disney, OK. ( God is doing some awesome things at the camp. Many, many kids came to Christ or made recommitments. And that, is why I love to lead worship at camp! I enjoyed working with Billy Oakley and Kolby King as the camp pastors. It's just so incredible to see hundreds of kids worship! They are uninhibited and real. Thank you God!

Well, to end, I would like to list those of my upcoming events that are open to the public. Hope to see you there! Just write me back for more info. on any event!

August 12-13: FBC SEYMOUR, TX

Ready to Win with Thelma Wells ( Yes, she IS the Thelma Wells of Women of Faith! Visit this link for more information:

August 27: Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma at FBC, MOORE, Oklahoma present Sweet Experience for leaders in Women's Ministry. This is a training event for ladies who work in any type of ministry to other women. Click this link for details:

February Ministry Update 2011 - March 10, 2011

Dear Prayer Partners,

"For great is His love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD." Psalm 117:2 How can I keep from singing His praises? The Lord has blessed my socks off over the last month.

Spending Valentines Day with my wonderful husband AND the members of Oak Grove Baptist Church was a real treat! I was the "entertainment" for their Valentine Banquet and while I hope they had a bunch of laughs, I really pray they left with the reminder of God's great LOVE for us all. He is the ultimate Valentine. Thanks, Bro. Ernie Gill, for your invitation.

Chocolate and friendship was the theme as I spoke and sang for my home church of FBC, Vinita in late February for SWEET MONDAY. "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." (John 15:3) Thank you, God, for friends and for what Your friendship means to us. I love the ladies of my church and I love working in our ladies' ministry! I'm grateful for the opportunity to share with them.

Last but not least I had an awesome time of worship with the ladies at Highland Lakes Camp and Conference Center in Spicewood, TX near Austin. There is just something special about 400 women raising their collective voices to God. I met so many wonderful people and have a LOT of new Facebook friends and email subscribers! Welcome! Our theme was "GOD CAN". And believe me, "HE DID"! Vicki Parsons and Joy Riza really delivered God's words to us. Thanks to Judy Sansom and her team for inviting me back! I loved seeing you all again. Until we meet again, remember...GOD CAN!

Bookings are rolling in for 2012. I'd love the chance to come to your church or event. And, if you haven't "liked" me on Facebook yet I hope that you will! I like you! (!/pages/Amy-Hill Ministries/106709716035117)

Love you all and please remember to say a quick prayer for this ministry.

Nov/Dec Ministry Update 2010 - January 3, 2011

Dear Friends,

It is so hard to believe that we are now in the year 2011. Growing up, anything in the 2000's was considered Science Fiction! We honestly thought that by now, we would be zipping around the sky in Jetson-like transports. While there are MANY changes (cell phones, internet, twitter, Facebook, Hybrid cars), God is still in the business of drawing people to Him. And, that is how I hope to be used through this ministry with the help of your prayers!

I was so blessed in November to join the ladies of Brenham's First Baptist Church in Brenham, TX. I felt a deep bond with these sisters in Christ as we sought the Lord in worship and His word. I loved hanging out with old friends, Jay and Jana Foster who serve as the church's music minister and wife! Thanks so much for having me! I've already been asked back for next year and can't wait to see them all again! Glad to have so many of them as prayer partners now! Welcome!

In December, I brought a Christmas Concert for First Baptist Church of Salina, OK. I LOVE to sing about the birth of our Savior! The people of FBC were so inviting, encouraging and very supportive of my ministry as they prayed over me at the end of the concert! "For unto us is born a Savior which is Christ the Lord!" Emmanuel...God with us!

My 2011 calendar is almost full! Just a reminder that you can keep up with it all at! ThreeFold Ministries with Carol Sallee has some openings for 2011! View our new brochure at

If you would, take just a moment to pray that I will be open and ready for all God has for this ministry in 2011. Also, send your prayer requests to me! I'd love to pray for you!

Happy New Year!

October Ministry Update 2010 - October 19, 2010

WOW!  I'm writing a little sooner than usual, but I have to share what God has been doing.  I had a wonderful retreat on the first weekend of October with Belview Baptist Church of Tulsa.  I spoke and sang for their group of 25 ladies.  It was such an intimate and encouraging time in the Word.  We learned how to be better friends to those around us and to our Lord.  We truly acted upon our theme of "Chocolate Covered Friendship" and ate a LOT of chocolate!  Thanks to pastor's wife, Sue Branch, for the invitation!

Last weekend ThreeFold Ministries with Amy Hill and Carol Sallee had the privilege of ministering at the Ladies' retreat for First Baptist Church of Claremore, OK.  It was an amazing time of worship and in the Word as we explored our theme of "Thirsty".  It is incredible what God can do with one thirsty woman!  Psalms 63:1 "O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you  in this parched and weary land where there is no water."  Lisa Martin and her team really reached out and gave all they had for their ladies and for our Lord.

IMPORTANT NEWS!!!  ThreeFold Ministries' has a brand new flyer!  CLICK HERE TO SEE IT!  We really wanted to have a piece that gave as much information as possible about our combined ministry.  So, check it out for theme ideas, etc.  We are now scheduling for Spring 2011.  While Carol and I both take events separately as well, we love to work together!  We would love to provide the entire program for your next retreat/conference.  Let us hear from you!

You can view the flyer by CLICKING HERE!

Keep those prayers, prayer requests, and notes coming in.  They are invaluable to me!

September Ministry Update 2010 - September 27, 2010

Dear Prayer Partners!

Thank you so much for keeping me in your prayers when you receive these updates.  It is so good to know that for a few days after sending these you all are praying for me!  I couldn't do it without you!

The summer of 2010 was awesome!  I led worship for two weeks here at Green Country Camp where my husband, Charles, is the Camp Administrator.  I loved working with two great camp pastors in Noah Wickham and Gene "Bubba" Wright(  Overall this summer, we had a record 182 salvations and over 350 other decisions made.  God is SO good!

I did a concert for Trinity Baptist Church in Vinita, Ok, last night!  What a sweet spirit in that place.  Thanks to Pastor Ryan Goodrich and his sweet wife, Erica, for the invitation.  I pray that lives were touched and God was glorified!

Attention OKLAHOMA ladies!  ThreeFold Ministries (Carol Sallee and Amy Hill) will be leading a Ladies' Conference for FBC Claremore which will be held at Rogers State University in Claremore on Saturday, October 9 from 8am-4pm.  It will be an incredible day with speaking, LOTS of music, a market, and more for just $40!  Visit their website below to register.  Go to "Ministries" and then "Women's Ministry".  The deadline has been extended to Oct. 2nd so act fast!  Invest in your walk with the Lord!  Be sure to let me know that you are coming so that I can look for you!

Please pray for me and my family as I have conferences/retreats the next TWO weekends in a row.  Love you all!

Spring Ministry Update 2010 - June 16, 2010

Well, we are already into summer and I am JUST NOW sending you a Spring Update!  Thanks to all of you who have prayed for me faithfully over the years.  And, welcome to everyone who recently joined my mailing list! Remember to reply to this email with prayer requests or just to say hello!

(ALSO, I have instituted a new service to send these emails.  Please let me know if you had any trouble viewing/receiving this update.   I am trying to work out all of the issues!  Thanks!)

First and foremost, you can check out my brand new CD "You Can Do More" and hear sound bytes by visiting my NEW website at!  Be sure to leave a comment on my GUESTBOOK PAGE.  I'd love to hear from all of you!  My album is also available for download at!  I hope it blesses your heart and those you share it with!

This Spring was SO busy.  I had the privilege once again to lead worship at the New Day Conference at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Bixby, OK.  It was a wonderful time of worship and the WORD!  The thing that sticks out in my mind is the testimony from a woman who decided to nail down her salvation and to start serving God with her whole heart.  God still moves! And that is why I do what I do!

Next, Carol and I traveled to lead a conference at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO.  Thanks to Leslie Umstattd for her wonderful leadership!  I met a student there from Cuba which was so neat because my husband Charles was in Cuba on a mission trip at that very time.  She was coming here to learn about ministry so that she could go back to her oppressed nation to share Christ!  WOW!  Also met a lady who told me that she and her husband were about to graduate from seminary.  Did I forget to mention that they were both in their 80's?  What an example both of these were to me!

Carol and I went back for the second year to the New England Baptist Convention's Ladies' Retreat.  What an absolute blessing to hear the praises of over 300 women lifted to the Lord.   Retreats like this one in the New England area are few and far between.  No wonder these ladies did not take one minute of our worship for granted!  I was also able to lead a training session for female worship leaders from the six New England States.  We had an awesome time of prayer and collaboration as we remembered the true passion behind our callings!

I capped off the Spring singing at the Craig Mayes Baptist Association's Sr. Adult Day here at Green Country Camp and sharing a "Mothers and Others" program at First Baptist Church in Langley, OK.  And, I can't forget the CD Release Concert held at FBC, Vinita, OK (my home church) that has to go on the highlight reel of my life!  It was truly an incredible night that once again reminded me why I do what I do!

SO I finally come to my prayer requests!  Here they are:

1.  Pray that the new CD reaches people for Christ (the plan of salvation is presented on Track 9).  And, that it encourages believers in their daily walks with God.

2.  Pray that I completely rely on God for my Fall Schedule!

3.  Pray for me next week as I lead worship at my 2nd summer camp!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jan/Feb Ministry Update 2010 - February 24, 2010

Dear Prayer Partners! 2010? Couldn't be! But, more than ever, ministry is so important! Not just this one, but any ministry that points people to the God they so desparately need! He commands to go out and tell. It is the driving force behind Amy Hill Ministries. Please continue to pray that this will never change! In January, I enjoyed a one day concert tour in Texas. I began the day with my good friends, Jerry and Brian Hays, at Valwood Park Baptist Church in Farmer's Branch. It was such a blessing to share with people so open and ready to hear what the Lord had for them through song. Then, straight on to First Baptist Church, Mart, TX. A full concert that night made for a long day. But, knowing that even one person was touched or somehow changed is worth it all! I appreciate Bro. Gary Kreder for having me out and for all of his hard work getting ready! I was also able in January to lead worship at Fatih Baptist Church in Claremore, OK, for their "Winter Word Family Conference". There is nothing like lifting up the name of the Lord with others who love Him just as much! Thanks to Bro. Terrell Romberg (pastor) and to Tim Green (speaker for the conference and one of our Oklahoma DOM's) for letting me be used in that way. The Spirit was moving and it was just a privilige to be there. Oh, and I went to Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Claremore as well to sing before Charles preached there. It's been a busy month! NEWS!!!!!!!! I am finally in the studio! My 4th full length album, You Can Do More, is due for release in April! I was just in the studio yesterday and laid down about 8 tracks or so (looooooooooong day!) But, the Lord has blessed, through your prayers, to provide me with a wonderful studio and producer ( in Tulsa. Please continue to pray for this project. There are a lot of little and big things that need to fall together before sending it out for replication. I am "under the gun" as they say but I know the Lord can pull me through. I go to the studio again all day tomorrow and then my favorite part (note the sarcasm here) on Saturday! A couple of neat things about the project, Carol Sallee (, laid down a track yesterday with the plan of salvation. Just like the others I've made, this CD is once again a tangible witnessing tool. Not just songs, but spoken word as well. It is something you can place in the hands of someone who does not know Christ and (if they listen to it) you will KNOW that they have heard the best news out there.... news that SAVES! I am so excited about that part. And, let me tell you, Carol did an awesome job yesterday! In case you've forgotten, she is my partner in ThreeFold Ministries (she speaks, I sing). Also, my friend and music minister at FBC, Vinita, Jeremy Annett, will be joining me on a couple of songs. He has an INCREDIBLE voice but better yet, he has a PASSION for worshipping the Lord. Not just in song, but in life! Sorry about the long update. I am just so excited to be where God is working. I pray the same for each and every one of you! Be sure to check out the pics I've attached! You can check out more on my Facebook!

In love, amy
